For all those who have

For all those who have never been to Paducah, KY

The 1st day of the

The 1st day of the show..
kinda quite and steady...hard to judge the head count
They have their own quilt tv channel here in the hotel
it's actually on the local cable network
we have voted it absolutely MORONIC
its a slice of the twilight zone
Most of the time, here in Paducah it's quilting overload
The local networks cover the events here like it was the The SuperBowl
restaurants wont take reservations
What Am I On!?! CraZY Pills!!!

All of my years' work

All of my years' work has culminated here in Paducah, KY
The 19th Annual AQS Quilt Show
It is an awesome sight.... THOUSANDS of grandmothers
of every color, size , and shape.
Some woman are pushed around in wheel chairs, while others
are sporting their Nikes.
The comradery here is spontaneous and contagious, and always sincere.
Everyone belongs here.
I loving being part of this.

It's Over... The 2003 Glendale

It's Over... The 2003 Glendale Quilt Show has finally ended.
It was a great time for all of those who attended.
Do you know that 70 year old women shoplift?
That's right...70+ year old sticky fingers!
At least we didn't have to chase them down COPS style.
I ran and worked like a mad woman.
Heard stories about old ladys whipping their undergarments out from their shoulder pads,
and tragic stories of women who have out lived their husbands and children.
Through all of this I had some time to think about why I do this.
And I do it because I like the ladies.
